Literature, Screenplays, Original Music
WRITER: RICK ALAN RICE
Welcome to the world of one of America’s premiere literary anarchists.
Here you will find literary fiction in a variety of forms, from satirical to historical to forays into the occult. There are screenplays, essays, and a huge library of original music compositions. Here are stories that explore not only what it is to be human, but what it is to be a fluke of the universe, a part of a great cosmic joke. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will be challenged to think deeply about all those things that don’t let you sleep at night.
SOMETIMES SOMETHING WORTH NOTING
the war on reading
on rewiring the brain
Ever since the introduction of the “smart phone”, the brains of users have been undergoing a radical transformation. We now have a generation of children who can’t sustain an attention span for long enough to make advanced critical thinking possible. They never knew what it means to think deeply – and they are soon to take the reins of our world. Is there anything we can do to save ourselves?
